Exempt Supported Accommodation
We provide supported accommodation for both individuals and families who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. We do this in partnership with local authorities by creating a referral pathway where the local authority will refer individuals / families to our charity who require accommodation and support to maintain their tenancy.
Our Housing Support service is designed to support you with your housing needs but most importantly it is their to help break the cycle of homelessness that you find yourself in.
Our trained Housing and Support Officers can support you with the following:
- Managing Finances
- Addressing substance misuse
- Tackling anti-social behaviour
- Access training and employment opportunities
- Signposting to relevant services for you and your family
- Finding and Securing permanent accommodation.
Affordable Housing Schemes
The rising cost of living and the nationwide housing shortage has created the perfect storm where low income individuals / families are unable to find accommodation within their budget.
Sekhon Community Housing are trying to address that balance by delivering affordable housing schemes across various locations in the UK. Our properties range from 1 Bedroom Apartments to 4/5 bedroom houses all available at less than market rent.
We deliver these schemes in conjunction with the host local authority so that we can prioritise individuals / families where the council have a statutory duty to house. However we also accept direct applications for our properties. Visit our contact us page to find out how to get in touch.
Rent to Buy Homes
Owning your own home is a dream come true for most of us, however rising interest rates and the increased cost of living is making it even harder for people to own their own home. Working in partnership with property developers we are providing a number of 'Rent to Buy' Schemes where our prospective tenants will be able to purchase the properties they live in.
